Villa Can Vela

This luxury Villa is situated on the way to the picturesque place Cala San Vicente. A long private way leads from the main road between corn-fields, passing the small Villa Llangana, (belonging to the same property) to an automatic gate: the marvelous estate “C«an Vela”. The house with very impressive stone walls avoid heat in the summer time and coldness in the winter. There is more than 160.000 sqm. land from which about 70.000 sqm. are forest with old cork trees. Here, in your own forest, you can undertake interesting walks, watching the different species of birds. Something special for the children: Between trees, there is a small wooden-house, ideal to play for themselves. A large garden-zone encircles the house with very big old trees, lots of green plants, multicolored flowers and spacious lawns. Entering the house via a solid door the big hall is decorated with tasteful mallorcan furniture. From here you reach the beautiful dining room with a big fire place. Very comfortable leather-sofas invite to relax. Further on you can find the separated dining room. It leads to the well-fitted wooden-kitchen and the utility area. On the other side, passing a small cloak room, there is a bedroom with 2 beds and exit to the terrace as well as a bathroom with bath, toilet, etc. Back to the hall, we go upstairs. On the right hand one can find a double bedroom with a full bath/shower room. Two further bedrooms with 2 beds share another full bath/shower room. On the left hand side there is a double bedroom, bathroom with shower and a little library (which can be converted in a twin bedroom). The furniture of the bedrooms are very individual and have a high standard. Back to the hall, a large glass door opens to a long covered terrace with comfortable garden furniture. From here, a small path leads to the swimming-pool area. Everywhere around the pool you can see marvelous green plants and large lawns. In front of the 14 m long swimming-pool one find a covered terrace with a long wooden dining table. There is a cooking stove, oven, BBQ, fridge and sink in order to pass unforgettable summer days and evenings. On one side there is another small terrace with a shower-room, toilet, etc. A small path leads to the Fronton Vasco (type Squash), which is hidden between high green bushes. There is also a possibility to play basketball. The house has been enlarged and restored with lots of love and very high quality. Several antiques are to be discovered in the villa. The trees and garden have passed already more than 100 years.
